Lilia Bandoquillo, age 84, of Schaumburg, passed away in Elgin on June 1, 2019. She was born in The Philippines on December 11, 1934 to her loving parents, Esteban and Lorenza Salvenera (Avila).
Lilia earned her bachelor’s degree in The Philippines. She moved to the United States in the late 1970s.
She retired from St. Alexius Hospital in Hoffman Estates as an Assistant Chef.
Loved ones will remember her as a woman with a very giving and generous heart. In her free time, she enjoyed collecting knick-knacks, small figurines and books.
Lilia was preceded in death by her husband, Conrado Bandoquillo.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Victoria Bandoquillo, Nenita (Ed) Cvach, and Luminda (Tom) Werling; siblings Gloria (George) Balocating, Ester Salvanera, and Rolando Salvanera; grandchildren Nicole (Andrew) Howell and Steven Werling.
Memorial visitation will be 5:00p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 7:00p.m. at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St. Elgin, IL 60120. Memorial visitation will continue until 9:00p.m. Interment will be private.
